McDonald's is served…at the tables

French people tested for the revolution...in the fast-food world: McDonald's will try to introduce the service at the tables. Jean-Pierre Petit, CEO of McDonald's France, anticipated to the national newspaper "Le Figaro" that the testing period will last the whole 2011 and will be in 50 McCafé and McDonald's locals, equipped with vending machines for the orders. The perspective is that of ensuring the service, in 2012, to all the 1,150 restaurants of the brand in France. The expansion of the American fast-food chain, with a total of over 32,000 locals in 117 countries, with more than 75% franchised, continues conquering French market quotes: in 2010, 37 new French McDonald's have been opened, with a sales increase of 8%. Within 2015, then, the opening of 40 stores is expected.
