Food made in Italy

In defense of the Italian food industry, Unioncamere, Isnart (National tourism Research organizarion) and Assocamere Estero created the project "Ospitalità italiana, Ristoranti italiani nel mondo" (Italian hospitality, Italian Restaurants in the World) which - thanks to the contribution of industry associations such as Fipe and Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development, Cultural Heritage and Tourism - Italian restaurants in the world can certify their "Italian" and a quality with a DOC label. "If with this project we reduced of one cent the turnover made with imitated or counterfeit products, we would recover to the made in Italy of 500 million euros," said the President of Unioncamere Ferruccio Dardanello.
