Esprit launches the new Gowstwyck Merino collection
The brand in franchise Esprit launches its first project of the innovative platform Esprit Limited Edition, the new collection Gostwyck Merino, a very special capsule collection created with the maximal care in collaboration with the Austrialian Gostwick Farm. Main aspect of the project is the franchise network's willing to work respecting eco-sustainable and ethic values. Recently, the company has scooped the competition to obtain the exlcusivity on the Gostwyck merino wool. Working in harness with Philip Attard, the Gostwyck Farm's owner, Esprit had the chance to inspire from the ecological values promoted by his company and it could work on a product created in the respect of the eco-sustainability. The merino wool produced by the Gostwyck Farm, indeed, is so soft, that you can mistake it with cachemire thanks to a simple secret: sheeps' happiness. The raised animals' well-being is a basic aspect, which contributes to the creation of the product. The brand Esprit, famous for having developed sustainable relationships with all groups of interest, is involved in guaranteing its support to sheeps' farmers giving great importance to the animals' well-being putting in practice in their work eco-sustainable methods. "Awareness and devotion have always been two aspects very important in Esprit history" - explains Colin Henry, Esprit Chief Product Officer, "the Gostwyck initiative allows us to give more force to our care of eco-compatibility and sustainability".
