Eco-tourism grows

According to Unioncamere-Isnart for the Osservatorio Nazionale Turismo (National Tourism Observatory), eco-tourism grows and reaches in Italy over 10 billion euro with a progressive increase of the turnover and presences, thanks to the low cost accomodations in agrotourism or camping offers, uniques accomodations which grow. Moreover, according to Coldiretti in 2010 the green holidays are chosen by 8% Italian people (Swg survey) and in Italy there are 772 parks and protected areas covering 10% of the national territory. It is significant, among lovers of holidays in contact with nature, the presence of young people between 16 and 30 years old (23.2%), while for the accomodation preferred are the farm holidays with 20% of eco-tourists.
