Change at management level for Inditex
A new president for Inditex, Spanish fashion group, which has closed 2010 with 710 stores in franchise on a total of 5.0447 in 78 countries. Amancio Ortega, founder of the company brands Zara, Zara Home, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Pull and Bear, Oysho, Stradivarius and Uterqüe refer to, has left the "throne" to the ex vice president Pablo Isla Álvarez de Tejera. The clothing colossus has finished the first quarter, thanks also to sales and e-commerce of franchise brands, with a 10% net profit increase, reaching 332 million euros, compared to 301 million euro of an year ago. Also sales have registered an increase of 11%, reaching 2,96 billion euros, as oppose to 2,66 of first three months of 2010.
