Autogrill extends its partnership with Starbucks Coffee in Europe
The Group Autogrill and Starbucks Coffee Company have extended their partnership at an international level and are ready to develop new activities in Europe. Collaboration between the two societies started in 1991 in the USA.
During the year, it is written on a note, Autogrill will introduce for the first time the brand Starbucks inside its principal stores in France. In the next months, the company will insert the brand also along motorways I the Netherlands, opening the first stores in services areas of AC De Meern and AC Meerkerk. Up to now Autogrill manages about 370 Starbucks cafés (352 in North America and 15 in Europe) which have in 2010 have generated gains of more than 340 million euros.
“After the renewal of the exclusive agreement signed by Autogrill and Starbucks in North America the last year” commented Gianmario Tondato Da Ruos, CEO of Autogrill, “this represents a significant step to expand also in Europe the strategic collaboration between the two Groups who continue to explore together new development opportunities.”
