Advertising: first semester at +4.7%

The advertising market sighs with relief and closes the first half of 2010 with a plus sign. The advertising industry, in fact, with am expense exceeding 4.5 billion euro marks a +4.7% comparedwith the same period in 2009, thanks to the Football Worldcup too. Advertising is growingfor all the main sectors and, particularly, for food (+10.0%) and drinks/alcoholic beverages (+9.2%). Growing, although lower, cars (+1.1%) and telecommunications (+2.3%). Television, radio and Internet closed the semester with a better trend compared to the market. Growing the number of advertiser companies than 2009 (+0.6%). To be underlined on Internet 1,000 exclusive advertisers (+42% compared to 2009).
